Vi o vídeo #vemseanpenn e decidi procurar o agente do actor e enviar-lhe um email. Foi isto que enviei:

Dear Mr Brian Gersh,

My name is José Maria Barcia and I'm from Portugal. I'm sending this e-mail to you after a search on google about Sean Penn. Well, this is what's happening: 

In Brazil there's a young man with Down Syndrome. He is an actor and his role model is Sean Penn. He never gave up his dreams. And he is has the leading role on a brazilian movie called ''Colegas'' (Buddies, in english). The preview is on the first of march.

I don't know him and I don't you, but if is able to conquer his dreams, so can I help him. His friends did this video I'm sending. it turned viral not only in Brazil but also in my country. Here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHNTPdy0CIM.

His name is Ariel and he just wants one more thing. He wants Sean Penn, his idol, to sit besides him on the premiere of the movie. For me, about sending this e-mail, I just thought ''Why not? Maybe It can reach somebody''.

If Ariel can be and example for the rest of us, why wouldn't we be better? Help each other? Sometimes, you just need to spend a couple minutes and send an e-mail. Maybe, just maybe, someone will read it.
